In this week's episode we talk about a director/writer/producer/actor that did it all and changed how we think about storytelling, dialogue, and violence. Quentin Tarantino matters, but why tho?
Tom brings us through his history from high school adult movie theater attendant to a low budget director, to an artist that plays can fill all the roles needed in film-making. We talk a little about his ability to bring the best out of his actors and bring success to foreign films in the United States (HERO anyone?). Kate, Ryan, and Adrian talk about our favorite Tarantino films, why he matters to us, and a little bit of the controversy around a few of his films.
